General Elections

I am not a big fan of politics. Especially Malaysian politics. I spose politicians everywhere are the same... There has to be some element of BS in their manifestos. I'm not surprised. Sometimes though, the BS is too far fetched, one wants to actually give the politician/party the post(s) to see if that really will happen.

But erm that wasn't an example of total BS although I don't understand really how they are going to implement that without significantly affecting the economy. I guess they'll stop all the nonsense BN projects and save us from further deficits? Sounds so simple.

Anyway, why are there independent candidates? It's so weird but interesting at the same time. Has an indie candidate won anything in the past? Why doesn't he side with a political party?

I won't be surprised if BN won again this term. What if the opposition wins and I end up with no malls to shop from because they're all shut down to reduce social ills :< I hope they only shut down casinos and nightclubs then :D
