Due to the fact that I do not want to stay at a B&B for my General Practice attachment I have to wake up at 6am everyday to catch the 730 bus to Athlone, arrive there at about 9, hang around till 5pm then get on the bus at 515 (which never comes at 515 -.-) arrive in Galway around 730pm get on the number 5 bus to Rahoon...if I'm lucky, I'm home before 8pm. Wheeee.
It's dark when I leave the house and it's dark when I get back. It's like I never left at all =p
At least Athlone is a nice town. The GP place is 2 mins from the bus/train station and 2 mins from the GP is a nice shopping mall. :D With better shops than the ones in Galway minus Brown Thomas and all in a nice, warm enclosed space!
The GP and staff there are very friendly and accommodating, which helps ease the pain of having to travel so far everyday. I almost fell asleep in the consultation room today though, as I had problems sleeping last night :<
Wish I could be back in Malaysia now.. My sister-in-law is getting married real soon and it's sad that we're not able to be there for her. She helped A LOT with our wedding. O well, sape suruh tak sabar sgt nk kawin takle tunggu summer? :P
I miss home, I haven't had the time to call since I've been so busy. I miss my guy in Derry too! Grgrgr roaming is soo annoying! Aren't there enough places in Ireland to send people to? Whyyyy?!
I recently got my Garda reimbursement and Psych attachment claims. So I'm a happy panda now. Hmm but how am I going to submit my Semester 1 results if I didn't take any exams? -.-
